Go Paisley!

Crazy but true, PAISLEY is hip again!  I’m seeing it pop up all over the place like the mall in clothing and lots of home decor for the fall.

In the upcoming Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog (which begins Sept 1) there will be a bit of paisley to keep us on trend!  Look at these papers, called Petals & Paisley.  12 x 12 and 2 sheets are copper embossed:

(by the way, yes I will be offering the holiday paper shares beginning Friday Aug 26th)

Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Delightful Dijon, Vanilla and Mint Macaron. Oh and a bit of Cajun Craze.

I used today’s Mojo Monday sketch #462 to create this card:

There’s a great set that coordinates with the papers called Paisleys & Posies.  It’s photopolymer and I stuck them to a large block to stamp the background.  I figured I might stamp a whole bunch so it was easier to ink and stamp all at once.

I started with a vanilla card, then layered the Navy card stock, a strip of Razzleberry and chose the Dijon ribbon.  (it’s a 3 pack of ribbons in the paisley suite available Sept 1!)

I decided to layer the papers on Dijon and vanilla.

I liked how it came out!  I think the paper can definitely go into fall for Thanksgiving but it’s an all around versatile, everyday paper for birthdays or whatever you need it for.

Look around and you will see paisley out there!

Paisley Glasses World Market

And I just saw these paisley glasses at World Market  and if you search for paisley on their site, TONS of items come up.

I’m in love with these paisley wall decals….so happy!

So when the Holiday catalog begins in 10 days, go paisley!
